Odyssea Marine supports the use of STOP WORK AUTHORITY and reminds all employees
that everyone has a right to stop the job if it seems unsafe. The ultimate goal is to find
a safer way to complete the job if hazards are found. All "Stop the Job" events are fully
supported by our all shore side departments. Below is an email that recently went out
to a vessel crew who utilized stop work authority. The email illustrates the overall
support from Odyssea Marine.
